Liz was born and raised in the Flathead Valley. She met her husband at Flathead High School and they have two amazing daughters. She has taught middle school for a decade and served the Kila community as Principal/Superintendent for four years. When she is not working she is usually out adventuring with family, playing with her kids, working towards her doctoral degree, or cheering on the Bobcats.
